To all car audio enthusiasts,

After months of organizing and finalizing the plans, we are proud to announce that the 1st ever EMMA Asia Finals will be held this December 10 all through December 18.

2 European judges together with 9 Asian judges including 4 EMMA Philippine judges, namely Jino Bhucksasri, Diyoy Cabahug, Glen Saitowitz and Frederick Del Rosario will be gathered to travel to 3 locations, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore to judge all the participating competitors coming from 5 different countries. We hope to have more of course in the near future. these 5 countries will be: Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.

With the thought that Asia is not connected by land, unlike Europe and the Americas, the only way for EMMA Asia Finals to happen is to send the judges over different countries instead of the competitors going to one.

For the first time also, Filipino installed cars will be competing internationally against the cars we ever dreamt of before. These cars from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand will be going head to head with the cars from the Philippines to see who is the best of the best. The Filipino competitors will come as one, as TEAM Philippines, to do fight for the championship. To all competitors, we hope that you will somehow put a Philippine flag on your car to “Represent”!

ESPL will no longer be part of the EMMA Philippines competition category anymore however, ESQL has taken its place and has became an official event for 2011. DB Drag will also be offered for those who joined ESQL for an additional fee of P1000 only.

This year, we will be strictly following the EMMA ESPL rules as we have mentioned last year. The category and classes will be followed according to the rule book.

Rule Book:

Page 65, no. 17 – Transporters, vans, pick ups, or sports cars/Smart cars without rear seats have to start in the Advanced (Plus), Master or Expert category

Page 65, no. 9 – A front system must be installed and play audible music during measurement, if the front system is not audible there will be a 10 point deduction.

Please pay attention to all the rules on Page 65 to avoid disqualification as we will be strictly implementing them this year.

Please pay attention also to Topic 3.3, page 17 of the rule book on how the cars will be categorized. Again, we will be strictly following the rules. Any equipment, items, objects, connected to the subwoofer box that is higher than the rear seat will be considered higher than the rear seat and will have to be moved up to the next higher category.

EMMA Philippines presents to you the 1st Leg Regional Competitors Challenge for 2011 at the Manila International Auto Show 2011 @ World Trade Center, Roxas Blvd. SQ, ESQL and Multi-Media categories will be opened! ESPL will no longer be part of the EMMA Philippines competition category anymore however, ESQL has taken its place and has became an official event for 2011.

This year, we will be strictly following the EMMA ESPL rules as we have mentioned last year. The category and classes will be followed according to the rule book.

Rule Book:

Page 65, no. 17 – Transporters, vans, pick ups, or sports cars/Smart cars without rear seats have to start in the Advanced (Plus), Master or Expert category

Page 65, no. 9 – A front system must be installed and play audible music during measurement, if the front system is not audible there will be a 10 point deduction.

Please pay attention to all the rules on Page 65 to avoid disqualification as we will be strictly implementing them this year.

Please pay attention also to Topic 3.3, page 17 of the rule book on how the cars will be categorized. Again, we will be strictly following the rules. Any equipment, items, objects, connected to the subwoofer box that is higher than the rear seat will be considered higher than the rear seat and will have to be moved up to the next higher category.

Announcing the event program for 2011!

We will be conducting our 2011 judges training in April followed by the 1st leg on April 9 & 10 at the Manila International Auto Show. In this years judge training, we will conduct the new amendments and also align the training according to EMMA Asia standards and style of judging. This is for the preparation for the 1st EMMA Asia Finals happening at the end of the year of 2011.

FINALLY…..THE FINALS!

The best of the best of 2010 will meet face to face this first week of March to show to the world the best of Philippine car audio. More than 100 competitors who has exerted massive effort to create the best car audio system will compete with each other making this the biggest competition ever in EMMA Philippines history. The fight is close and the prestige is high for being the National Champion of EMMA Philippines!
